Another one of our many skills is pile drving. We contract out our pile driver, and an operator if required, for pile driving solar piles for ground mount systems. We have worked on systems in the Pacific Island area.

One of our jobs was pile driving a 783kW PV system in Vanuatu. This system had a pile on the front and rear of the rails, due to the high winds which hit Vanuatu. The ground was very hard, being formed of coral, and what felt like steel. At this particular site, when we were on a good run, we would hit in 140 piles per day. This site had a total of around 1000 piles.
